Hi everyone. I’m new to Sahaja Yoga Meditation and the forum. I’m up to lesson 5. I first started meditating (irregularly) about 25 years ago. That’s about how long I’ve had a continuous sensation at the base of my spine. It feels like heavy, slow rolling bubbles of energy. When this sensation rises it feels finer as it fills my upper body and travels up the back of my neck. Occasionally I feel slight pain at the crown chakra. Sometimes I feel areas of cold in my spine or whole torso. I’ve always assumed this is the movement of Kundalini. The reason I began Sahaja Yoga is because I would like to experience a full-blown awakening rather than just the taste I experienced 4 years ago. I’m hoping doing Sahaja Meditation will help. Also, I get many insights both in and out of meditation. I’m assuming they’re coming from my inner Master because I always seem to have an insight validated within a day or two via an external source such as a guru on You Tube or in a book. As well as meditating daily my practice consists of mindfulness identifying ego conditioning.
