Hi I was introduced to meditation last year, when i was down and tired a friend worked on me, It was amazing and we practised regulary.

I have left it some while now, and started again recently… wow! I have cleared out my left side with footsoak and candle treatmnet.

I had conjunctavitis, earache, sore throat, headaches…. all on the left side,  anyway I kept meditating cried alot!! and then found my right leg was burning up… to the point where  my foot seazed up i couldnt walk on it for days the burning was so painful. I ice packed and foot soaked again, goodness me I had no idea I was so clogged up!

Is there anything anyone can suggest? would really appreciate some help with this as I am getting a bit fearful of what might happen next…

Thanks x

As I guessed there is nothing to be fearful of! Its amazing I did another guided meditation yesterday…. and whilst playing with my son and letting ‘go’ I felt a cool breeze all around me Nice :)

However this morning whilst standing next to someone, who was trying to get my attention I noticed a prickling in my left arm, and then later after having talked with this person I felt it all on my left side and on my face…. Is this past stuff? Inactivity? Im not sure but will do some more tonight and work on my left side?

Dear friend,

Here are a few suggestions.

Firstly, is there a Sahaja yoga program near you where you could come to meditate together with others and seek some advise from instructors? There are othe clearing techniques besides the simple ones that we introduce here, but ofter they are a bit difficult to explain in writing. It would be good if you could go to a local program and get the benefit for it.

Secondly, from what you are describing, the catches you are feeling might not all be “yours”, some of them you might be picking up from other people or places when you come in contact with them or put your attention on them. To make that less likely, and to make yourself more protected, try using the raising Kundalini and bandhan technique before you leave the house (in order to bring your attention to the seventh energy center and establish it there), and try to keep your attention above your head as much as possible during the day. If you feel something is happening that disturbs you (like what you have described), do the technique right there and then. If you are in a public place and don’t want to look strange, just do it with your attention without moving the hands. Here is this technique in case you haven’t been introduced to it yet: http://www.onlinemeditation.or…..editation/

The third this, that is important is this. It’s possible that you do not meditate, or do not meditate enough after doing the treatments that clear your system. What happens when we clear our system (through footsoak or with candle) is that the negative energies are expelled from our body. That creates the vacuum, a sort of emptiness in our subtle system, and if we do not meditate in the meantime, or if our meditation is not very effective, eventually we just pick up same or similar sort of negative energy from our environment, from other people, from tv, computer, etc. So it is very important after clearing to take that extra time to have another meditation, so that the vacuum can be filled with positive energy. You can simply sit down and ask your Mother Kundaliny to fill your energy centers and channes with positive evergy, and then meditate for a while, or until you feel increase in vibrations, then do the bandhan technique and then you are good to go.

Try this out and please let us know howr it worked. Good luck,

Sincerely,

Mar’yana

Hi Mar’yana,

Thank you. I think you are right on both counts, I do feel so great afterwards, I tend to not meditate for a day or two.  Also I do tend to pick up on others moods and needs… Not always helpful!   I will try the Bandan on leaving the house and meditate more often :)

My son (6) watched me meditating the other day and asked if I would show him what to do… he copied me and sat quietly unheard of usually! and afterwards said he felt amazing. Is it okay to let him join in occasionally or is he too young?

thanks for all your advice… 3 meadows

Dear 3 meadows,

I’m glad that my suggestions were helpful. Daily meditation is indeed the key to establishinh self-realization and growing in it. It does not have to be long, but it has to be regular.

About children – they are great at sahaja meditation, it’s just so natural to them. I know some 4-year-olds and 7-year-olds who feel vibrations much better than most adults, they can reach deep meditation state much easier and somehow enjoy it more. Children too pick up stuff from their surroundings, so if then can meditate to let their Kundalini clear them out, it is very benefitial to them – they will be able to grow better, without obstructions that might otherwise limit them from developing to their fullest potential.

Check out these links we have about meditation for children:

You might find some of these things helpful.

Sincerely,

Mar’yana
