Hello, I am Elaine from London,

I have just had my first week of being involved in Sahaja yoga and I am surprised at how quickly it is affecting me. I have tried other meditation techniques before and found that they calmed me but couldn’t stop the constant chatter of my brain whilst meditating. Using Sahaja, my brain seems to empty and although I experience some pictures of things that have happened, I can quickly let them go. I do feel more at peace with myself.

I feel that I have become very caught up in my different roles in my life and who I am to different people and lost sight of who I really am. I am tired of fitting in with what others expect of me and just want to be. I am hoping that those roles and expectations will fall away and I will be truly revealed to myself.smile

I have attended one class so far, so early days, but loved the meeting and looking forward to going again.

Welcome to Sahaja Yoga forum and it is so good to hear about your experience!

Sahaja yoga is a connection with the real Self, with your Spirit, so all other identifications will go away with the daily meditation practise as the gap between your thoughts will get wider and kundalini will get stronger also.
