Hi, I just started the on-line Meditation Class 3 days ago. I was sceptical at first being an online class but found this a calming experience & have felt cool air in both palms and above my head, followed by warmth. Also this experience has made me cry during meditation on 2 occasions. I am currently going through moving to a new town and a separation so this may be the reason. Any feedback would be welcome. Thank you for the very clear instructions on your website.

Hello and welcome to the course!

Thanks for sharing your experience. The coolness and warmth you felt are both normal indications of the awakening of the inner energy, the kundalini. Feeling a little emotional is also common! I hope you are adjusting well to your new circumstances. Meditation can help us to keep our emotions in check and to maintain perspective during transition periods so you may find the course continues to help.

Please let us know if you have any specific questions as you go along.

All the best,
Sarah

Thank you Sara, will continue with the course. My concentration seems to be better in the morning so I find I can meditate in the morning – I find it harder in the evening. Need to do it twice a day ,right?
Thanks again,
Rose

Dear Rose,
It’s best to meditate twice a day, and it is quite common that the morning meditation is easier than the evening one. You can try to combine your evening meditation with a very simple clearing technique called foot soak, and see whether it makes it easier for you to have a good meditation in the evening as well. We introduce this technique in class 5, but there is no harm to start doing it right away. Here it is: http://www.onlinemeditation.or…..editation/
