My experience in meditation

Hi

 

I am new to meditation. I did this 3yrs back also with help of friend who is pretty much mature in meditation. We used to do in a group and  it was really efforless to feel the vibrations. Then i could not continue and forgot all the steps to do. But it was always in my mind and kept searching on this. I found lot of other stuff about meditation also but things were different from what i had done before. And finally 3 weeks back found your site. This is a great site. Everything is explained in a very simple and beautiful way.Thank you so much for that.

 

I have some questions also.

1. Feeling vibarions is such a great and joyful experince cannot be explained in words. It simply makes your day. I do feel often but the day i don’t it upsets me lot. i feel i am missing somthing. So i start trying hard and sometime i gives me headache also :( 

Please help me with this how to stay calm i dnt get ant vib.

 

2. Mostly i feel vib on right hand not on left. what does that mean. On head also if i check with right hand it is there but not with left.

 

3. What is best time to meditation. Is there any time period when it is not recommended to do example late night.

 

4. I read and think about it so much even i my dreams also i feel like i am meditating.

 

Please help me with these. I want to take other benefits like peace of mind , better concentration but i am going other way around.

Hello!

We are glad you found the site and are interested in meditation.

Don’t worry if you don’t feel vibrations everyday. It can take some time to become sensitive enough to constistently feel vibrations. If you start trying too hard, then you almost definitely will not feel anything! Just relax and let go – it will come naturally and with time will become more and more regular. Also do not worry if you feel different things in different hands – the hands reflect our left and right channel and it is common that the differences in the state of these two channels cause different sensitivity to vibrations in our hands. Just continue meditating, try not to think too much about these things in the beginning.

The best times for meditation are generally early in the morning, and at night before going to bed. In the morning, try doing it before you really start your day so that your mind is not thinking about all the things you have to do. Some people get up as early as 4 am because it so quiet and peaceful at that time! But it is not necessary, whatever time you feel you are able to have a silent meditation. In the evening it is good to do before going to bed so that we can let go of all the stress from the day so that we have a peaceful and relaxing sleep.

In general try not to think too much, and just enjoy the journey!
