I am currently on vacation and it took me to be on this particular vacation to realize and understand that my chakras are not in alignment which I am ready to fix now!!!!

As I was researching meditation and chakras, I came across this meditation online course. I just completed class 1 earlier and was wondering when I was going through the mediation exercise sitting with my legs crossed and palms up, the more that I was focused on my meditation and very still, I felt like my body was swaying back and fourth and wanted to know is that normal and what does that mean if so?

Dear Michelle,

welcome to onlimeditation. When we start for the very first time meditating and putting proper attention on our subtle system, a wide range of feelings can take place.

As far as I can tell, the feeling you had seems to come from what we call the right side, otherwise called right channel, which is a hot channel. It produces futuristical thoughts, plannification and action. Once this side gets cleared out, swaying back and fourth may happen. Your inner subtle energy is simply balancing all your subtle system out.

It also depends on the settings around you when you were meditating, if you were under a full sun or under the shade of trees, that makes a big difference. Generally speaking try to be in a mild environment, not too cold, not too hot as it influences your subtle system. Its all about balance :).

Next meditation you have, before listening to the guided meditation, put both your hands on the ground and let the earth absorb all imbalances within. That should help.

Let us know how it goes,
