Hi all
My name is Pierre. I’ve wanted to learn to meditate for a long time but always seem to put it off (never enough time!) sounds like a cop out lol. At any rate, I am recovering from brain surgery that was done on June 9th to cure trigeminal neuralgia which I’ve had for 12 years. So far, surgery has proven to be a great success. So while I recover I’ve decided it’s high time to learn to meditate. I’ve always read about and believed in the benefits.
I started with this course 2 days ago. I don’t know how well its going so far but here is what I’ve gleaned from it. I find that I can slow my breathing and definitely relax. So far so good. As far as the breeze at the top of the head, maybe but I’m not convinced that I’ve felt that yet at least not pronounced enough to absolutely agree that I’ve felt the sensation. I have felt a pressure in my forehead where I assume the third eye is. I find I yawn a lot and tears stream from my eyes. By this I do not mean crying or emotion but rather a physiological symptom that appears with yawning for me.
Very much enjoying si far and hope to continue this for the full course. I believe it takes 30 days. 10 classes each for 3 days (ish) correct?
Thanks and have fun!

Dear Pierre,

it is very nice to know that you enjoy the meditation, and slowing down your breathing as well as relaxing is definitely a good symptom of what produces the meditation, so as you said yourself, so far so good :).

The cool breeze may take sometime to be felt especially if one of your center is blocked, it may take a little while. Just be patient and keep trying :=).

The pressure on your forehead means that something is clearing up on the 6th center (Agnya chakra), centre of forgiveness. You can simply repeat here “I forgive everyone and myself”, which is also what the Self Realization process made you do.

Tears in your eyes may just be a lot of tiredness :) I experienced it too a couple of times, if no more, just resting will do. You may do the classes as you see fit in your schedule and desire. There is no set timing to complete them nor pace given. And you can repeat them as long as you wish.

Returning the same to you, have fun :=)
Kind regards,
Erwan

Hey thanks for the quick response Erwan.
I’m not sure I understand what you mean by “which is also what the self realization process made you do”
Is that in reference to a class I haven’t done yet perhaps?
Thanks again:
Sending you good vibes, and as always: have fun!

Dear Pierre,

I was referring to the experimentation below, which is the Self Realization process:

People can start by either classes or that short meditation process, which is the one developed by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, initiator of Sahaja Yoga in the early 70s.

All the best,
