Though I have tried meditation before, I haven’t had much luck maintaining a steady practice; usually quit after about 10 days.  I found this site and signed up about two weeks ago but haven’t done anything since.  You see, I am about to finish my first 30 day challenge in a different aspect of my life and found it very helpful.  So, I plan on using the beginning online course here as a basis for a new 30 day challenge dedicated to meditation.  I haven’t quite figured if I am going to try and do all 10 lessons in 30 days (3 days per lesson) or do a lesson a week for 30 days.  My main goal is to meditate each day for at least 20 minutes – beyond that it’s all gravy.  The way I see it, the point is to adopt the practice, afterward I can start setting deeper goals.  – Augernaut1

Dear friend,

Welcome to our online course!

20 minutes meditation per day sounds like an excellent plan! It would be even better if you could divide that into 2 sessions – about 10 minutes in the morning, and about 10 in the evening. About the pace to set up – it really depends on your personality and your own personal needs, so you can start with 3 days per class and see how it goes (that’s if watching the video is not included in your 20 minute plan). Otherwise, the videos themselves are 15-20 min. long, so if you only have about 20 minutes a day for the whole “project”, then it’s better to take 4-6 days, so that you could watch the video once or twice, and do the guided meditation a few times. So perhaps try it out and see how it goes. smile If you like it, you can just continue after your 30 day challenge is over.

Please let us know if you have any questions in the meantime, and all the best to you!
