I was so happy to find this on-line free class to improve my meditation practice. I am practicing Mindfulness meditation; but find that my mind is filled with intrusive thoughts. It is hard to stay focused with everything happening in my life. My grandchildren and mom are moving across country to leave a tense family atmosphere with their dad who is bipolar.

I want to provide a stable, loving atmosphere so that they all can heal from the family situation. I have read about chakras and have wanted to do some work with experiencing their energy. So this course seems wonderful. I am so excited to start this new adventure.

Hi Kristicaro,

Thanks for sharing and welcome to the course. I hope you will get everything you hope to get out of it. Normally for people who are new to Sahaja meditation, we suggest trying it exclusively, and putting other meditation practices on hold, at least for the first few weeks. This will help you get the maximum benefit out of it, and as well will allow you to see more easily which is the right practice for you.

hello everyone … i am a new member here but i discovered shahaja yoga 1 year ago from my english teacher who had follow shri mataji back then … i am so so happy to do shahaja yoga and foot soaking more now .. the period that  i did shahaja yoga at the first time i had a lot of energyand  i was extremely happy…it was ubnormal …. thats why we worked more on the right side and i was starting to be better – calmer more blessed and balanced but i didnt like it i wanted all this power and fake happiness of the manic episode … i wasnt balanced at all.. i even remember that i didnt wanted to do shahaja yoga ever again ! (sry shri mataji) at summer i had a depression episode and then again mania … now i try to be in the middle but it doesnt seem that i am
i searched every wher about shahaja yoga and bipolar disorder but i wasnt able to find something 
(i believe that i go from the 1 side to the other from left to right and opossite) 
if you know some exersise or you just want to tell your opinion or  something about bipolar and shahaja yoga that will be helpfull plz help me :)

Sahaja Yoga is an individual journey, which works if there is desire and dedication within you.  Complete honesty with your Self is very important… may you have patience and faith, and work hard to clear out and balance the channels, and improve the Mooladhara Chakra.
