Hello every one!

A friend of mine who practise yoga told me about your web site and helped me in my first meditation. She is a wonderful girl.
I’ve been trying your course online, 2 or 3 days on each class. now I’m at class 4.

I have many difficulties: first of all. I can’t feel cool or warm breeze: just tingling, specially in my left hand, in particular the centre of the palm. I find it difficult not to think. even just putting my attention on the top of the head feels like a big effort to keep it visualised!

Yesterday I had an odd experience: I managed to let go of every feeling, then I saw myself flying: I was an eagle, and then a woulf playing in the forest and happy. I tryed, but couldn’t find any worries. I just felt joy of being that wulf waiting for his brothers. and I was crying. So strange! so nice… What was that?! It felt like if I were one with other lives. I didn’t really govern my thoughts. Nice.
Pls explain… I’ll keep on trying with meditation, but really don’t know if I’ll be able to think of nothing!

Thank you for the nice web site!

Hi !smile

Don’t worry too much if you don’t feel cool or even warm breeze in the beginning.Tingling is already an indicator as well. As the center of the palm is the projection of the Sahasrara…For me myself it took about two years to feel vibrations….So for some people it takes longer, because all of us have gone through different experiences until we got our Realisation. And that experiences were not always positive to our spiritual growth…unfortunataly..Vishudhi problems (the center of the throat is responsible of feeling vibrations ) like smoking can block us from felling it as well…Some other false spiritual practises and stuff like that can make also influence. So just keep going and don’t try anything to visualise!:)-it’s not the purpose of the meditation. In the beginning, if you feel hard to let your thoughts go away, keep attention in the heart…just say inside “not this”,”not this” to your thoughts…Heart is directly connected with your Sahasrara chakra…

So really meditation is thoughtless awareness , being in the center , in the reality…Visions might show that your attention goes too far to the collective subconscious or superconscious-agya chakra and you see the things which doesn’t exist in reality, so with the time it should go away….cool

hope at least it was little bit helpful:)smile

all the best in your spiritual journey!

Lina

Thank you Lina for your advise. I suppose i shouldn’t feel in a hurry to get there. About my strange jurney… I really enjoyed it! is it normal to feel things like that? being an other being?
I wanted to attend Asana yoga classes. What do you think about that?

Thank you!

:)You are very welcomesmilesmile..actually you are your own guru  and after your kundalini was awakened you might find out many answers by yourself and about yourself…hmm maybe you shouldn’t be inpatient, but if you concern about your spiritual growth, everyday efforts are necessarysmile

about being other being…But who are you in this lifetime and what is your aim??To know yourself? To become who you really are…?what is the benefit of being someone else?:)

about Asana yoga…again, its better at least for some time to practise Sahaja Yoga and to find benefits out of it, because mixture of different techniques is like taking all  medicine without discrimination isn’t it?..:) On the other hand, you should answer to yourself, what you want to achieve and does the yoga postures (asanas) can really give you spiritual satisfaction?Kundalini is working on your energy channels and chakras already, just needs little bit of your efforts to strengthen it and I am sure slowly you will be able to reach that gap between the thoughts and to find absolute peace and silence without being someone else but being connected with your True Self!smile

if you have any further comments or questions, looking forward to receive it !Everyone’s comments are welcomecool

In addition to what Lina has said, if you can try to attend a group session in your area and experience the power of collective Sahaja Yoga meditation, many things will work our very nicely. For me, from the very first meditation, I was feeling the cool breeze. But I  also know many people who had difficulties in feeling the vibrations at the beginning. But eventually they all experienced the soothing effect of the cool vibrations…

All the best

Hello!

Yesterday I attended the first group lesson of sahaja yoga. It was only a presentation, but we did the exercise, and I realized I couldn’t feel cool breeze because I was looking too close to my head! the guide showed me it was much higher, and told me it was strong and the fact is high is normal and good sign. We’ll have lessons every week now.

I still can’t see how this can help, but I know this: I would like to know my-self, understand the meaning of life and feel the communion and peace. But actually I don’t know how much I believe it… that is why I want to experience it!

Oh… and I’m veeeery curious!

Cheers!wink

Nice to hear your attendance to the Sahaj group meditation. Meditating with a group makes the difference and helps you realize more subtle things. Definitely look forward to hearing more of your experiences. smile

mmm… I must say I’m not yet impressed by the group experience. I enjoy the lessons, the explanations, but meditation is even harder in the group. I always find it impossible to stay without thoughts. But I keep trying!
