smile I am totally new to meditation, and a series of events lead me to this meditation course. I totally agree with the concept of finding my inner self and am finding this course is just what I need. However, I am wondering how long it will take to “feel” the warm/cool breeze from the top of my head. I am using this as a guideline as to how I am doing. So far I am getting nothing at all. Best wishes to everyone. xx Janette xx

Dear Janette,

Welcome to our course!

There is not one standard as to how soon one begins to feel vibrations (the breeze from the top of the head and the hands) – while some people can feel it right away during the first self-realization experience, for others it can take days, weeks, or even months. If you do not feel it, it does not meant that your inner energy is not working within you, it usually means that there are some obstructions preventing you to feel it clearly for now, as you practice the meditation, these obstructions should gradually clear out, and then you will start feeling it.

You can different questions, to see whether it is working: are you able to reach the thoughtless state, even for a short time? do you feel more balanced, calm and at the same time energized after meditation? do you feel peaceful and satisfied? Also, it might take a few sessions to feel anything at all. It is up to you, how long you want to give it before deciding whether to continue with the course and thing meditation technique, but I would suggest to get at least to class 5, and then see whether you want to continue.

Also, for many people the experience is much stronger and clearer when they go to a local class – all our programs are free, and they run in many parts of the world, so it might be worth checking out whether there is one near you.

Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any more questions,

Best,
Mar’yana

Thank you so much for your reply Mar’yana! I really want to continue with this course. I like the feel of it and I am sure I will get there in the end. Best wishes, Janette laugh
