I would just like to say hi to all out their.
I have began on a journey of self discovery.. which really began as a search for the truth around me.. ie the controllers of the system we live in, why i am here and what’s it all about… this has led to all sorts of realisations for me (not sure yet what is truth and what is not, but intuition seems to help along the way). This is where the internet is of great benefit for exploring and learning. So my reasons for learning mediitation is to prove to my self of higher realities of concousness.
I do have a question for some experienced meditators… Is music recommended, does it help? Music generally sends me off on a journey… sometimes in what some would call (ie my partner) sleep.. but again i always seems to think I heard most of it!!!

About music – different musical pieces have different effects on our system. Only after developing this sensitivity to vibrations that we can feel the true value and quality of music. In general, some music takes us “to the left” – makes us lethargic, dreamy, past oriented. Other music takes us to the right – making us anxcious, agitated. And anly some music balances us and grounds us in the center, in the present. Also, some music damages our energy centers, while other heals and purifies them.
