Hello,
I’m new here and so very grateful to be a part of something that I pray will be greater than me.

I’ve been dealing a lot of physical pain over the past several years all, related to my back. Just recently I finally did break down and have surgery. However, it had done very little to relieve my pain and now I’m ready to just jump! No, seriously, the only thing I would even come close to jumping from would be my front porch….

However, I do believe that in meditation one can learn to change ones reactions to pain. I know this involves much dedicated practice and I am willing to put forth all my energies to achieve this goal.

There are many more reasons for my desire to learn meditation. I also desire to be in the moment. To be conscious. Awake. To be in the moment. To be able to recognize that ‘This Is It” “this is all there is”,

I desire to change my life in order to become one with the universe. To allow the “I” in “me” to die in order to do this. I’ve read much on the subject but have yet to actually DO!

I also believe in the Ayurveda way of life. I do use essential oils and herbs for healing and I eat very well.

I’m very much looking forward to joining all of you and gaining insight and perspective as I go now on this journey with the knowledge that I am no longer alone.

Thank you all.

Namaste
Teri
