May the blessing of God be with us! A pleasant evening, morning or afternoon to all of u….(not sure for the time zone of the person who is reading this message.) I’m G, a newbie and was browsing around searching and seeking information about Kundalini since my third eye been activated I felt the urge of finding the answers and peace within me. Honestly speaking, I was a little hesitant to try the meditation practice to fully activate the Kundalini coz I’ve have read on some articles that the person has to be prepare for the spiritual journey as it includes lot of symptoms, changes in body and would even feel pains in different areas of the body. But something inside of me, telling that I should give it a try, to let go of the fears I am still holding, until I’ve learned about this site. I started the meditation and I admit…i feel better, I mean…I’ve found peace, bliss, excitement, it was beautiful and lovely. I would include that it’s a profound experience.

For the past few days, I feel couple of energies running in my body, sometimes it shocks me even when I’m sleeping, a flash of light in my vision whenever I close my eyes and lot of weird stuff…and since I tried the online meditation today that you offered…I feel like some vibration, energies have aligned properly and cool breeze spread in my entire body particularly on my hands and head which makes me feel like i’m hangin on air…lolz! But I just want to ask, while doing meditation (and I know I did my best not to think anything…) why is it I still saw lot of visions?…mostly a pictures of mountains, trees, water…the people doing yoga…is it normal seeing visions from time to time even we’re on thoughtless state? Thank you very much for reading my message, for sharing this meaningful and wonderful experience of meditation… I definitely recommend it to any of my friends who are in the same spiritual journey like mine.

Godspeed!smile

Dear Ash,
That you keep seeing images is usually just a sign that your 6th energy centre (which is responsible for thinking, but also for the eyes and visual perception) is still not fully relaxed, and a bit over-active. So it is preventing you from entering into the full state of thoughtless awareness, where we have no thoughts or images disturbing the meditation.
Since you have just started, this is not a reason to worry, just continue with the course and see whether it improves with time.
Wishing you all the best,
Mar’yana

Thank you for the advice Ms. Mar’yana, I admit, I find it hard to focus and become thoughtless at the beginning but since I am on class 5 now, i can do it without any form of distraction also I can really say, by means of this meditation, i have found profound happiness, serenity and the truth are coming to the picture. There’s couple of adjustments in my daily routine but I can also state that there’s better changes on my part. Hence, i want to ask something, the moment Kundalini has awakened, is it normal to feel warm on hands and feet?…i mean, whether I am on meditation state or doing something , i’ve felt the cool breeze but warm temperature is consistent on my hands and feet….kindly enlightened me on this part madam.

Thank you very much!

God bless!

Ash

Dear Ash,
I’m not sure whether I understand correctly, what kind of warmth you are describing, however, there have been some studies that linked thoughtless awareness (that is, what we try to achieve I n Sahaja Yoga) with a slight drop of temperature on the surface of the skin of the hands.
When you feel the cool breeze, where do you feel it? Do you feel the warmth that you are talking about at the same time as the cool breeze, or at different times? Because the warmth that you are feeling might be a normal feeling of regular body temperature, or it might be a sight of a constant clearing process that is going on.
Best,
Mar’yana

I feel the cool breeze on top of my head, forehead, sometimes at my back starting from the base of spine then going up…i felt it every time i meditate and there are moments while i was at work, i feel cool breeze(a minute or two) around my forehead but the warm body temperature that I am talking about is consistent and mainly concentrate on my hands and feet (before and after meditation), I even asked my sister to touched my hands and feet and she were also telling me that it is quite warmer (but not hot) as to compare to the rest of my body, (hers is somehow cold) perhaps an indication of good circulation? or like you said a searing process.. It happened the moment, Kundalini awakened on me.

Dear Ash,
That sound like just a normal sort of clearing out, when some imbalances are being worked on by your Kundalini energy, and the heat is released from your hands and feet. Have you tried doing footsoak yet? It’s a great technique to remove imbalances from our system, and especially the feet – it’s introduced in the additional meditations of class 5. Try doing it every day, and you might see some changes in about a week.
As long as you are feeling the cool breeze on the top of your head though, it’s a good sign that everything is working out well, so I would not worry too much about other things.
Best,
Mar’yana
