Dear friend,

Which class did you get to by now? Did you go through class 3 yet?

Please, no not worry about feeling the Kundalini right away and very clearly, there are many people do not feel it for quite some time, if you do not feel it, it does not mean that it has not been awakened, if fact, if you were feeling better when you started our course, it is likely that your Kundalini has awakened and has started to balance your subtle system.

Now, our subtle system is quite complex, what we see on the chart is a very much simplified version, so sometimes it might take a while for the positive effects to solidify, and sometimes it seems like you have made progress and then you lost some of it again. What keeps the progress steady is if we manage to get into the state of inner silence, without thoughts (or at least thoughts slowing down), and maintain that state for some time, or at least touch it regularly. When we sit to meditate, some days it will be very easy, other days it will be difficult, and some days it will not seem to work at all. What we need to do it to be gentle with ourselves, and not to put extra stress onto ourselves about “achieving” of “failing” to get into this state, but to have a commitment, that every day morning and evening, I will sit down for 10-20 minutes and give it a chance to work, that’s all I can do, and the energy will have to do the rest.

So why don’t we try this: forget about feeling the energy on your hands and above your head, you can check when the video or guided meditation prompts you to check, but make no big deal if you are not feeling it. Instead, try to relax and just do what you did in the first week or two – watch the video, or listen to the guided meditation, and just to enjoy them. See how you feel inside, and try to just gradually release all that tension that you carry in your system. In the morning, do the meditation how you would normally do it, and in the evening combine whatever you were doing with a footsoak in lukewarm water. And continue with the course – take a few more days for class 4, and then move on to class 5.

Class 6 actually works on a some of the main issues that you seem to be having, so it is important for you to just try establish your attention inside by the time get to it, so that when you come to it, you can benefit from it properly.

So let’s just take a day at a time, if meditation works that day, great, if it does not work so much, it’s ok, leave it behind and you can see how the next day goes. Sometimes it will happen that we will be struggling a fews days in a row, and then suddenly it gets better as if on its own – the energy just works something out, while we are struggling. As long as we sit down and give it a good chance to work out, every day, a little at a time, it will gradually work out. And try to just enjoy – the more we force it or the more we try to control it, the less it will work – it just needs to grow organically.

Let’s try this strategy out of a week or two and see how it goes… If it’s not working at all, we can try some other approach.

Wishing you a good next few days!

Mar’yana

This reply has been very helpful to me because I also was not having the results I thought I should have.  However, I do feel more calm and I am sleeping better.  I will take your advice and just sit back and keep going over the first few classes and just enjoy and let it all work itself out.  Good luck to you Mar’yana!

Dear Sandy,
No-no, do not keep stuck in the same class/classes for too long, it is important to move along the course (whether a quicker or a slower pace is more comfortable to you, you can choose). The reason is that each class is working out a different area within our being, different set of issues, so it is important to go through all of them eventually. If you feel like you missed something from a particular class, or did not “achieve” something, that’s OK, you can always come back later, in fact, you can do the whole course again after you finish it the first time, and you will be amazed, how much more you will be getting the second time around. But do move on from one class to the next :).

You are most welcome! :)

It might often be the case, that you feel the energy less tangibly (or are less sure what you feel) when you are meditating at home, as opposed to when people come to local classes, so I think the expectations with the online course are a bit more flexible :).

Enjoy!
