I have just finished class 10 and came upon the meditation room. It’s amazing. I thought it was over for now but there was so much more to explore. Where would we be if you were not to present these resources to us, I certainly wouldn’t know where I would be today. It was this website that first taught me how to do meditation, and made it so much easier and practical for me to continue it everyday.

Meditation has changed my life.

I was once lost, to the point where I couldn’t see the point of living or speaking to anyone. I could go on for days without speaking a word to people at school. From the outside, no one knew what was going on and no one understood or was there to understand, not even I understood it myself. Yet inside I felt so numb, lonely, and empty. Everyday when I went home, it was like my refuge and I felt I could finally relax and breath again. And everyday when I went home I cried because of how lonely and miserable I felt, and my only source of escape was watching TV. I spend every moment not at school watching TV and trying to waste time. The moment I didn’t have the TV on, I felt my inside collapsing as I returned to my real life and real situations which meant that no one was around. I felt as if I had no friends nor family, because my parents worked all the time and I did not and could not reach out to anyone. But I have always wanted to have friends, real genuine friends that love me and accept me for who I am. And today, I have it. I have those people in my life, I have those connections, and I have walked out of that darkness and shadow that once kept me in misery. I am who I am today because of my mentors. And my mentors are people that I found online through YouTube and through books. And today my mentors are also people that are in my life, real genuine people that have the heart to reach out, to love and accept you for who you are, and to help you grow. Those are the people that I cherish the most, and those are the people that are my friends today. And meditation was one of the most important things that accelerated my growth.

One of the things that really helped me grow in the right direction was Sahaja Meditation. It has helped me open up my chakras and making me a new and better person. There were moments when I felt the sensations and felt connected with the cosmos and God. It has helped me advance in my spirituality. And I have gained confidence, self acceptance, forgiveness, relaxation, and much more through it. Now I can speak to people more confidently, and communicate with them better on a deeper level. Now I am calmer and more relaxed outside of my home. Now I am able to open up my heart to people and share about my life to them. Now I can see more clearly, of other people’s pain and struggles, and of the truth and reality of this world, and have more compassion and understanding of them. Now I make friends more easily and am okay with being with people and actually grew to like people more. Whereas before I would feel anxious and avoid all contacts especially with people of the opposite gender. Now I am improving on my skills, improving on my life, improving on myself as a person, and now I also have the confidence and courage to allow that to happen. And a lot of this is because my chakras have opened, my body and brain have changed, I now know how to relax and control my nervous system better and how to get into a state of mental silence where I can function better. I learned to better connect with, love, and accept myself and God first.

Another thing that helped me a lot was joining a fellowship because it is a really supportive and positive environment, where I learn about myself and other people, where happy memories and experiences are made, where a sense of stability, support, and security is found, and most importantly where I learn about God and feel God’s presence.

Words cannot express how much I appreciate this website and what you are sharing with us. Thank you so much, from my heart to yours. Meditation has helped me in my personal life and with my personal growth so much, and this website allowed it to happen. Meditation is one of the most important things that I would attribute my success and joy to. I am so grateful that people like you, the people who made this website, exist for making this world a much better and easier place to live in and for providing us with the tools to pursue after what we are here to do. Thank you so much once again. You have my deepest appreciation and respect.

Namaste.
Amelia

Hi Amelia,

We are overwhelmed by your heartfelt words. Thank you very much for sharing your experience with everyone. You have written so beautifully.

It is truly joyful to hear from seekers such as yourself and know that we have been able to reach you and share Sahaja Yoga with you. It is actually our job, those who have been fortunate enough to receive our self-realization, to share it with as many as possible.

We hope the meditation room will help you to continue going deeper in your meditations and self-realization. We also hope that one day, when the time is right for you, you can experience meditating in a group at a Sahaja Yoga center near you.

All our best wishes,
Joanne (on behalf of the team at FreeMeditation.com and OnlineMeditation.org)
