Firstly the cool breeze is a subtle sensation which takes some time to recognize. If you are not yet feeling the subtle breeze on your palms, you may still be feeling other sensations which we generally call us vibrations. Everyone describes these feelings differently. Generally imbalances are felt as heaviness, heat/warmth, pain, tingling, buzzing, numbness, pulsation, pressure, “swelling”, etc. When your subtle system has been cleared and balanced, the cool breeze starts flowing, and your hands feel relaxed and light, without much tingling.
Above the head, it is very important to make sure you know the location of the fontanelle bone. It is slightly towards the forehead. You can find a picture on Google easily. Press one of your palms on the fontanelle, then lift it up keeping it *directly* above the area. Usually it is at least 4 to 5 inches away that you find the cool breeze clearly. Keep stretching your arm upwards until you find the place where you feel it clearly.
The two most important ingredients to Sahaja Yoga are desire and surrendering within. Desire for the yoga, then allow the living process to unfold on its own.
