I have been doing Sahaj yoga since last one year and feeling the cool breeze on my head. Every sunday I attend the collective forum also. I have been eagerly waiting for the thoughtless awareness state, and I think, 2-3 times I have reached to this stage, where I found myself completely in peace. But I am not able to reach to this stage every day. I do the meditation twice (morning and evening for 1 hr) on daily.

Secondly I feel burning sensation on my right palm, off and on and don’t feel the cool breeze in both palms. Can you guide me that why it happens and how can I feel the cool breeze on both of my hands and reach to thoughless awareness daily.

Hello,

I am glad you are enjoying the meditation experience and also are attending the collective programs.

Sometimes it can be difficult to fully reach the mediation state, since we are used to constantly having our attention on many different things at the same time. It’s great that you are meditating everyday and that will help. Are you also footsoaking regularly? If not, footsoaking every evening with cool water will help to cool the right channel and this may help to slow your thoughts and bring you to a meditative state. Here are the instructions on how to footsoak in case you have not come across this technique: http://www.onlinemeditation.or…..soaking-1/

Otherwise, try to just enjoy the meditation, even if you feel thoughtless for even just a few seconds. This state will gradually expand.

All the best and please keep us updated on how you are doing!

Sarah

Dear Sarah,

Thanks for your guidance. Infact I had been doing the foot soaking for quite a long time but since last couple of months I stopped it.
I will start it again to enjoy the meditation.
Thanks.smile
