My name is Imtiaz Ahmed Chowdhury. I’m an educator and have started meditation very recently (1 week) out of curiosity. I tried meditating in my life before, but because of lack of proper guidance it always seemed quite complicated to me. I came across this site while looking for some free guided meditations online.

Last night, I felt the warm sensation for the first time and was quite shocked as it is winter in my part of the world. I also felt subtle perspiration hinting that I was probably going through minor sweating as well.

I have some questions regards to class 1.

1. In the reading I’ve come across the part where I’m supposed to place my hand over my head and feel the temperature. I however, have found no such instructions in the guided meditation audio. So when am I exactly supposed to do this?

2. How long am I supposed to repeat a single class before I move onto the next one.

Hello, and welcome to the course!

Normally we check for the energy above the head at the end of the meditation. People generally do each class only one before moving on to the next one, but it is entirely up to you. If you really enjoyed one class and would like to repeat, or feel you need to repeat it for some reason, you can do it as many times as you like.

I’m glad you have found the course and I hope you continue to enjoy it! Don’t hesitate to post again with other questions or comments.

All the best,

Good morning,
I have meditated off and on for many years. I started meditating in my 40th year when I was volunteering with palliative
patients. It was a wonderful way to de-stress and feel able to deal with my grief and continue to support these brave
people. At the time, I had 3 teenagers at home also.
I did the online course once and will be starting it up again as I found it very beneficial.
Thank you.
