Surprisingly in my condition, I find myself ascending and I need to get this meditation business happening already.
The challenge is my spine is in bad shape. I’m not paralyzed (yet) but find comfort extremely elusive.
My upper extremities reflect the most damage. (No sitting on crossed legs here.) (Vertical spine and comfort do not mix well. Recliner chair is ok.)
Also, my neck has allot of titanium in it which I hope serves as a super conductor.
My question is, “How best to proceed”. I feel time is of essence here and I don’t want to miss out.
So far, it’s been most difficult to separate myself from my body while attempting meditation. My body keeps pulling me back.

The Mother Kundalini exists in all human beings and She is the same living force which makes the seasons change, flowers bloom and hearts beat. You do not need to worry at all about the condition of your spine in your quest for spirituality because the Kundalini energy, chakras and channels exist in the dimension of energies/vibrations. Despite the lack of physical comfort, you can certainly develop your vibrational awareness, which should be a very soothing experience. You do not need to worry about sitting in any specific posture. You can just do what works best for you.
